Overview
Jada Cannon is a Master of Architecture student at Cornell University with a graduate minor in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Studies. They are committed to just and equitable design strategies in the field of architecture, and they work directly with minority groups to further the inclusion of new perspectives in practice and academia. Their work with The National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS) and Architects, Artists, and Planners of Color (AAPOC) has bolstered a commitment to a career that enhances diversity in the field of architecture and building technology. They plan to continually reinforce the efforts to ensure informed space and place-making for marginalized groups.
