Growing up in New York City has played a major role in shaping my personal identity and career interests. The immense skyscrapers, bright city lights, and complex transit systems are a symbol of our technological evolution. Engaging with my surroundings inspired me to delve deeper into the realm of Computer Science. However, I was unsure of where or how to start. After being given advice by my peers, teachers, and mentors, I decided that the best way to improve my programming skills was by exploring my interests through personal projects. Over the past few years, I've had experience in video game design, 3D modeling, and story creation. Now that I have built a solid foundation in the field of STEM, I hope to learn more about how to make technology more accessible to the lives of others around the world.
